FAQ

Do I need the slide for C major?

No. On a C chromatic harmonica, the C major scale uses natural no-slide notes.

Which octave should I use first?

Use the middle octave, holes 5-8, because the pitch is comfortable and easy to hear.

Should I practice two octaves immediately?

Only after one octave is stable. Clean tone matters more than range at the beginning.
