What this first version supports

The converter accepts typed scientific note names such as C5, Bb5, and F#6, plus raw MIDI numbers such as 72, 74, and 76. It maps each pitch to a standard 12-hole C chromatic harmonica position.

Why typed input comes before file upload

MIDI upload needs melody extraction, rhythm cleanup, and copyright-safe test cases. Typed input lets the search page become useful now while the heavier converter stays a later upgrade.

How to read the output

Each generated tab shows the hole number, blow or draw direction, slide in or out, and the normalized pitch name. When a pitch has duplicate positions, the converter prefers a no-slide position first.
