What a useful tab needs
A hole number alone is not enough. Chromatic harmonica tabs should tell you whether to blow or draw and whether the slide button is in.
Why note names still matter
If you only read hole numbers, changing key becomes confusing. Note names help you understand the melody and find alternate positions.

This site uses plain labels such as hole 5 blow, hole 5 draw, and hole 6 slide draw so the meaning is visible without learning a private code.
